Pre-generated virtual situations
Pick a situation. Be in it.
No building a flight plan, no setting up weather, no waiting. Every situation is pre-generated and ready to load, with its own brief, terrain, traffic, weather and a debrief that grades how you handled it. Motorsports, medivac, personal transport mobility and more, on either craft.
Situation 01: Motorsports
Motorsports
Grid starts, floating pylon courses and a clock that does not care how you feel. The competitive situations put you on a grid with up to seven other craft, on land, on water or across both.
Situation 02: MediVac
MediVac
A casualty on a shoreline, a rooftop pad ringed with obstacles, and weather closing in behind you. The medivac situations are the ones that teach you to fly precisely when everything is telling you to hurry.
- Shoreline and off-road pickup: land where there is no pad, on sand, grass or water.
- Weight and balance shift: the craft handles differently the moment the casualty is aboard.
- Hospital pad approach: confined area, obstacles, rotor wash and a strict touchdown box.
- Time critical: the clock is part of the brief, and so is the reserve you have to protect.
- Night and weather variants: the same run after dark, or with visibility dropping.
Situation 03: Personal Transport Mobility
Personal Transport Mobility
The situation most owners will actually live in. Ordinary journeys done properly: across town at rush hour, out to the marina, a guest transfer at a resort, or a mobility assisted pickup where the person you are collecting cannot come to you.
- The commute: pad to pad across a city, real airspace, real traffic, real reserve planning.
- Mobility assist: a pickup at the door for a passenger with limited mobility, loading included.
- School run and errands: short hops on land, wheels down, arms retracted, in traffic.
- Marina and resort transfers: water start, air leg, water landing, guests aboard.
- Autonomy supervised: hand the leg to ALIAS Matrix and practise being pilot in command.
The library
More situations, all pre-generated.
Every one loads in a single tap with its terrain, weather, traffic and brief already built, and every one is set in the world these craft actually fly in: low altitude over urban cities and rural towns, inside the Light-Sport envelope. New situations are added every month and land in your library automatically.
Coastal patrol and rescue
Fly a search pattern over open water, spot a swimmer in sea state 4, hold a hover over moving swell and recover them without putting the hull in.
Resort and course operations
Pad to pad across eighteen holes with guests aboard, other carts in the circuit and a marshal who will call you on a sloppy approach.
Cargo and supply run
Load the craft properly, watch the centre of gravity move, and learn what mass does to climb rate, range and every landing after it.
Storm and emergency response
Roads out, comms patchy, autonomy degraded. Improvised landing sites and decisions nobody briefed you on.
Island hop
Long legs over open water with no diversion in reach. Reserve management, weather routing and a headwind that was not in the forecast.
City vertiport rush hour
Low level across an urban city, busy controlled airspace, a queue for the pad, hold instructions from the tower assistant and traffic you have to actually look for.
Night and low visibility
Any situation in the library, after dark or in falling visibility, flown on instruments and the tower assistant alone.
Systems failure set
Rotor out, battery derate, GPS loss, autonomy disengage. Each one dropped into an otherwise ordinary flight without warning.
Rural town run
No tower, no pad, no help. Self announced arrivals, a grass field or a driveway to land on, and weather that turns before the forecast said it would.
Sightseeing and tour
Slow, scenic and public facing. Smooth is the grade here: passenger comfort, steady camera work and a landing nobody feels.
How a situation runs
Brief, fly, debrief.
Load it
One tap from the library. Terrain, weather, traffic and the other craft are already generated and waiting.
Read the brief
What you are doing, where, in what conditions, with what on board and what counts as success.
Fly it
Hand fly it from the cockpit or supervise ALIAS Matrix. Conditions can change on you mid situation.
Get the debrief
Graded against the brief, with the replay and telemetry attached, and written into your data history.
Situations come out of the same block
Every situation in the library is included. There is nothing to buy individually: your prepaid air time covers the lot, training, motorsports and everything in between.
Custom situations, built to order
Your own terrain, your own pads, your own procedures, generated as a situation your students load like any other. Instructors can drop failures into it live from the instructor station.
