SOLESFLY™ Ride & Glyde

The simulator app

A cockpit that fits in your pocket.

One flight model, four ways to strap in. Whatever hardware is in front of you, the physics, the panel and the syllabus are identical, so an hour on your phone counts exactly as much as an hour in the console. The hangar is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Phone

iOS and Android. Tilt to bank, thumbs on the throttle, gyro head look. Full syllabus, no headset needed.

Tablet

The full split-screen panel at native size: craft control, moving map and a replay scrubber on one sheet of glass.

VR and AR headset

Stereoscopic 3D HD at 60fps, six degrees of freedom, and an AR passthrough mode that parks the craft in your driveway.

Simulator console

The manned cockpit: motion seat, real controls, triple wraparound displays. Built for showrooms and academies.

The splitscreen dashboard

ALIAS Matrix on the left. Tower on the right.

Every SOLESFLY craft carries the same mobile splitscreen dashboard. The left side runs ALIAS Matrix, US military style Blackhawk software technology, driving you on land or on water by GPS touchscreen or personal voice. Throw the toggle switch on command and the right side wakes up: the FAA Air Traffic Controller Tower Assistant with geographical coordinates maps. The simulator runs both sides exactly as the vehicle does.

FAA Air Traffic Controller Tower Assistant on the right of the SOLESFLY splitscreen dashboard, showing altitude, traffic, airspace status, weather and geographical coordinates maps

Left side

ALIAS Matrix drive control

Blackhawk lineage software, adapted for a craft you can park in a garage. It holds the vehicle wherever you put it, on tarmac, on grass or on open water, and it does the boring half of the job so you can do the interesting half.

  • Land drive: wheels down, arms retracted, street and cart path handling.
  • On-water drive: electric jet on the surface, hydrofoil stability through chop.
  • GPS touchscreen: pick a destination on the map and drive or glyde to it.
  • Personal voice assisted: your own recorded phrasing for every command.
  • Live craft state: battery, range, water temperature, throttle, speed, trim.
  • Ride modes: Sport, Tour and Eco, each with its own power curve.
Right side

FAA Tower Assistant

One flick of the toggle switch and the panel hands you the sky. The tower assistant is the half of the cockpit most new pilots have never seen, so the simulator makes you read it long before it matters.

  • Geographical coordinates maps: live position to the second, overlaid on terrain.
  • Air traffic: surrounding callsigns with altitude and speed, updating live.
  • Airspace status: class B, C and D clearance state plus active NOTAMs.
  • Navigation: altitude, vertical speed, heading, GPS lock and satellite count.
  • Weather: temperature, wind, visibility and conditions at your position.
  • Waypoints: build a route, fly it by hand or hand it to the autonomy.
  • Low level, urban and rural: the whole envelope these craft fly in, below 1,500 ft AGL. See the envelope.

The toggle switch mechanism

Three ways to throw the switch.

The dashboard never makes you hunt through menus. Switching sides is a physical action, a single tap, or a sentence.

The toggle

A real switch on the console, thrown on command. Muscle memory, gloves on, eyes still outside the craft where they belong.

The touchscreen

Tap either half of the splitscreen to bring it forward. The other side stays live and visible, it just steps back.

Your voice

"Switch to tower." Personal voice activation, plus Siri and Alexa, so the panel changes without a hand leaving the controls.

Paid swipe users

It greets you by name, and it tells you when you are down.

Swipe in and the craft knows who is flying. Your name appears on the panel with a spoken welcome, ALIAS Matrix calls takeoff the moment you give it coordinates, and it calls touchdown when you are safely landed. No guessing where you are in the flight, ever.

ALIAS Matrix Swipe to board Pilot Standby · no block active

Demo only. Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere.

  • Your name on the panel. The swipe, tap or in-app purchase identifies you, and the dashboard greets you personally before you have touched a control.
  • Spoken welcome. "Welcome aboard" with your name, in your chosen voice, over the cabin audio and through the headset.
  • Takeoff callout. Give it coordinates by GPS touchscreen or voice and it confirms the destination, then calls takeoff as the arms deploy and the craft leaves the surface.
  • Touchdown callout. It says touchdown only once the craft is genuinely down and stable, so the callout means something.
  • Block balance on greeting. The welcome tells you how much prepaid air time you have before the clock starts.
  • Session written to history. The greeting, the coordinates, the takeoff and the touchdown all land in your data history with the telemetry.

Manned cockpit piloted

Physics that punish you honestly.

Retractable rotor arms behave nothing like wings. The sim models thrust vectoring, ground effect off the tee box, vortex ring state on a steep descent and the very real penalty of a crosswind over open water.

  • Transition is the hard part. You earn the handover from hover to forward cruise, and again on the way back down.
  • Battery is a budget. Charge state, harvest rate, thermal derate and reserve minimums, exactly like the real airframe.
  • Failures on demand. Rotor out, comms loss, autonomy disengage, all triggerable from the instructor tablet.
  • Situations, pre-generated. Load a motorsports, medivac or personal transport run in one tap, conditions already built. See the library.

Or fully autonomous

Personal voice, Siri and Alexa.

Every command available on the stick is available out loud. Record your own phrasing once and the sim learns it, or use the Siri Shortcut and the Alexa Skill to start a session before you have even sat down.

  • "Start my hover lesson" launches straight into the syllabus.
  • "Set pad Bravo and fly me there" hands the whole leg to the autonomy.
  • "My controls" gives it straight back, any time, no menu.

Autonomy mode shows you what the flight computer is thinking the whole way: route, reserve, traffic and the exact reason for every decision. That is the half of the new cockpit most people have never been taught to supervise.
